Annotation

The course offers the first academic qualification on the way to becoming a teacher in subject-specific vocational education and can therefore be continued through a 4-semester master's programme at the University of Rostock (cooperation partner) followed by a traineeship. In addition, for graduates of a Bachelor’s degree, there is the possibility of work within the scope of practical teaching at vocational schools, in the area of subject-related further and continuing education or in subject-specific practical instruction. Admission requirements

Student advice and counselling is required. In addition, proof of professional training in a health profession must be provided before the start of the Bachelor’s degree programme. In particular, nursing, paediatric nursing, geriatric care and nursing, obstetric nursing or physiotherapy are considered health professions. If you cannot provide proof of professional training in a health profession, you must alternatively demonstrate a work placement of at least one year in a relevant discipline completed prior to the degree course (Section 7 (2) of the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania Teacher Training Act (LehrbildG M-V)).
