Applications should initially be made to a cooperation company. This company, together with the higher education institution, checks whether the requirements for the dual degree course have been met. Applications for a place on the course will be accepted from students who meet the following requirements:

- Higher education entrance qualification or entrance qualification for Fachhochschulen

- Valid, completed training contract between the student and the cooperation company

- Completed cooperation agreement between the company and the university of applied sciences

- One-year subject-related practical training

Applicants who only have proof of the academic component of their entrance qualification for Fachhochschulen will also be accepted. The subject-related practical component will be credited towards the dual degree course.
