The Master's degree course in Media Informatics furthers knowledge and abilities in the field of Digital Media Production and the development of multimedia applications. The degree course strengthens skills in analysis, design, implementation and project management through a promising combination of subjects in Computer Science, e.g. Machine Learning, Sustainable Software Engineering, Knowledge Management and Professional Media Practice (Photography, Image Processing, Video Film Production, 3D Computer Animation). This part of the degree course is especially focussed on the conception and production of interactive media. Admission requirements
- Sufficient focus on Information Engineering or Engineering/Natural Sciences in the university degree for which evidence is provided\; The Master's course builds on a Bachelor's degree course with 7 semesters. Students from a course with a standard period of study of 6 semesters can enter the Master's course in Media Informatics without a problem. They will acquire an additional 30 ECTS credit points in addition to the optional required subjects and practical projects, which are determined together with the Admissions Committee. - Minimum overall grade of 2.5 - Proof of sufficient German language skills
