Admission requirements

Completion of a Bachelor’s, Diplom, Magister or Master’s degree or State Examinations with the minimum grade of 2.5 and a total of 240 ECTS points or a comparable degree to which 60 ECTS can be credited that were earned through previous professional experience, as well as evidence of relevant professional experience of 12 months and evidence of the applicant's motivation for the specific course. In exceptional cases, the examination board may also admit applicants who do not fulfil this requirement, provided that their course of studies or professional experience can clearly demonstrate their aptitude for the Master's degree course in Insurance Law The relevant professional experience must be in an insurance company, with an insurance broker or in a law firm and must be completed before commencing studies.
