Annotation
Whether in private sector or public sector companies – this Master’s degree programme trains experts in the professional and research field of occupational health management. Sports science knowledge is expanded to include interdisciplinary health perspectives. Various fields of knowledge are combined, individual prevention and intervention specialisations are chosen, and methodological and management skills are taught in order to develop, implement and reflect on inputs for the practice of occupational health management.
Admission requirements
The study programme requires a completed degree that includes the following skills: Basics of Sport Science: A command of the fundamentals of training science, sports medicine, sports education, sports psychology and sports sociology or the social sciences of sport, combined with the ability to formulate scientific questions and to deal with them using appropriate methods. Principles of teaching and learning in fields of movement: Knowledge and experience for the planning, staging and evaluation of sport and exercise programmes taking into account the characteristics of the target group and setting, combined with the ability to analyse and assess different forms of sport and exercise for specific target groups and occupational fields in a theoretically sound manner. Health Science Basics: Knowledge about health and illness in the context of exercise, intervention and prevention.
