Annotation

Studying sexology? Absolutely, because research and education in the context of sexuality play a crucial role socially and on an individual level and have gained attention in recent years. Research and scholarly engagement with issues of sexuality and sexual relations are cutting-edge and require bold and energetic professionals with strengthened analytical skills and mature mediation skills. Sexology deals with the research and development of sexual education and counselling competences, including competences for the prevention of sexual and sexualised violence. The objectives of this Master's degree are to prepare students for the target group-specific development, implementation and evaluation of sexual education and sexual counselling services and to enable them to critically examine various currents in (international) sexual science.
