Target group

Psychologists with a diploma or Master's degree who are aiming for the state final examination and thus the licence to practise and the certificate of specialist qualification in psychological psychotherapy with a focus on behavioural therapy. This degree program is only aimed at Diploma and Master’s graduates of psychology of the old system (start of studies before 01/09/2020). According to the Psychotherapists Act, this course of study must be completed by 2032 (hardship case 2035). Written applications are accepted on a continuous basis, but at the earliest 1.5 years in advance.

Annotation

Three-year full-time study or five-year part-time study possible\; State final examination/licensing and specialist certificate for Psychological Psychotherapy with focus on behavioural therapy\; German and international applicants with German education apply directly to the Department. Please note that this programme is a postgraduate degree (state examination). This degree program is only aimed at Diploma and Master’s graduates of psychology of the old system (start of studies before 01/09/2020).
