The Universität Mainz offers the Bachelor's degree from the fifth subject-related semester or the Master of Education exclusively for the Teaching Qualification for Grammar School-level. It is not possible to combine Visual Arts with Music in the teacher training course.

Admission requirements

A portfolio of 20 to 30 personal works (portfolio assessment) must be submitted before the registration deadline as part of the aptitude test (see deadlines and dates). A pass in the portfolio assessment test is a prerequisite for taking part in the assessment test (see deadlines and dates). If course entrance restrictions are introduced for Education Sciences in the Bachelor of Education programme, the application deadlines for open-admission scientific disciplines will also change!
