Annotation

The foundation of the Mechanical Engineering degree is solid basic education in the main subjects of physics, mathematics, mechanics, design and electrical and sensor technology. The theoretical course follows on from the school material seamlessly, with Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences offering accompanying and advanced courses. In all subjects, there are either accompanying exercises for deepening the material using practical examples or laboratories for acquiring and deepening practical knowledge. 3D CAD application is a key element of increasingly virtual product development. Elective modules from the third semester onwards make it possible to set your own priorities and to choose additional specialisations from the areas of production, business administration, renewable energies, recycling and environmental engineering and automation. The final module with Bachelor's thesis for the acquisition of the Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) consists of a practical phase in industry, during which an engineering-related question is to be worked on independently. Support is always provided in cooperation with Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences. After completing your Bachelor's degree, you can also take advantage of the Master's programmes at Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences. Questions regarding part-time studies should be addressed to the Student Advice Centre - studienberatung@hs-nordhausen.de
