Admission requirements

Completed studies in Social Work/Social Education, Childhood Education and Special Education Studies (final grade of at least 'good' - 2.5). A course in self-awareness and awareness of others with at least 4 ECTS. Any missing credits in the field of self-awareness and awareness of others can be achieved as part of the training in the BA in 'Social Work' at the Social Services Department of the Hochschule Niederrhein. Selection procedure bonus If applicants participate in a written, subject-specific aptitude test (multiple choice test lasting 60 minutes), they may earn a bonus for the selection procedure depending on the grade achieved. Participation is voluntary and is not a prerequisite for participation in the selection procedure. The test takes place once a year in the summer semester\; for the dates and selection procedure, see the department pages. The bonus is only valid for the selection procedure taking place in the same year for the winter semester.

Tuition fees

No tuition fees are charged. The semester contribution is EUR 350.80. With this, the student also obtains a ticket for the local public transport system as well as for whole of North Rhine-Westphalia.
