Admission requirements

In the admission procedure at the Hamburger Fern-Hochschule, university, the general requirements of the Hamburg University Act (HmbHG) apply. Admission to the Bachelor's degree programme is granted with a (subject) higher education entrance qualification. The following applies to the degree programme Therapeutic and Nursing Sciences You can study at the HFH if you have completed relevant vocational training in one of the specialisations named for this course of study (occupational therapy, speech therapy, physiotherapy, nursing) and have subsequently worked for at least six months in the chosen specialisation. In the case of students without a (subject) higher education entrance qualification, the six-month period of employment may fall within the period of the required two-year period of employment (see below). In addition, a letter of motivation must be submitted.
