The Hochschule Furtwangen designs the course contents to teach the skills and specialist knowledge of an industrial engineer and is responsible for the entire exam system. Implementation and organisation of the study programme is carried out by the IHK-Akademie (Chamber of Industry and Commerce Academy) in Villingen with support from lecturers at the Hochschule Furtwangen.

Admission requirements

-\tProof of recognised further training on the basis of completed professional training with a technical specialisation. -\tProof of qualification for admission to higher education in accordance with Sections 58f. LHG Baden-Württemberg (Federal State University Law) (e.g. through a successfully completed recognised further training examination). \tFull-time employment after completion of the professional training with a technical or Business Administration focus amounting to at least one year. \tSufficient preparation for the examination in accordance with Section 33 (external examination) of the Federal State University Law of Baden-Württemberg through regular participation in the lectures of the study programme.
