Graduates of a bachelor in Food Technology or a related field of study, who would like to receive continuing education and enjoy research and development, are in the right place with the Master´s degree programme in Food Processing. Moreover, after completing the Master's degree program in Food Processing, a doctorate can be sought in cooperation with a partner university.
After completing the Master's degree, there is the possibility of obtaining a doctorate in cooperation with a university at Fulda University of Applied Sciences.

Admission requirements

Proof of a first professionally qualifying degree from a university in Food Technology or a related subject area with a large food-related component worth 210 credits and an average grade of 2.5 or above. Applicants with fewer than 210 ECTS credits can make up the outstanding ECTS credits by completing modules from the degree programmes of the Department of Food Technology.
If the academic degree was earned with a grade lower than 2.5, the applicant may, upon request, be granted admission to the Master’s degree programme by proving very good food-subject-expertise. Such proof must be provided in a personal interview with two professors of the department. Applicants without a Bachelor’s degree course in Food Technology may be required to take modules from the degree programmes of the department.
