The course is aimed at Bachelor's degree graduates and graduates of Computer Science or a computer science-related study programme \; who wish to specialise in one of the three key areas \; who want to expand their methodical and technical/computer-science skills \; who want to develop innovative solutions based on academic tasks who enjoy \; who would like to work on research projects \; who want to go in for a doctorate upon graduation \; who enjoy working in a team and who are proficient in English.

Admission requirements

A professionally qualifying degree within a standard study period of at least three years or with at least 180 ECTS points in Computer Science or a related subject with an equal extent of Computer Science components from a recognised university. The final grade must be at least 75 per cent of the required credits (equivalent to the German mark of 2.5). In exceptional cases, for example, in the case of particularly successful relevant employment, applicants with a lower overall grade may also be admitted.
