Annotation

The degree programme is aimed at experienced health and (paediatric) nurses, geriatric nurses and nursing specialists who would like to broaden and deepen their skills. The focus is on the further development of nursing practice in all fields of nursing, e.g. in hospitals or in outpatient and inpatient nursing facilities. You can acquire the following qualifications as part of the degree course: -Introductory course: Evidence-based Nursing - Guidance/advice/continuing education – practical instructor -Quality management officer During the course of study, face-to-face weeks at the university alternate with self-study. The dates of the attendance weeks are fixed in the long term. We recommend that these be discussed with the employer before the start of the course. The degree course can easily be combined with a part-time job.

Admission requirements

- Completed vocational training in accordance with the Nursing Professions Act (Pflegeberufegesetz) or the Elderly/Nursing Act (Alten-/Krankenpflegegesetz) - A professional activity in the nursing sector that accompanies your degree application deadline. For a good balance between study and work, we recommend 20 working hours/week, at least 12 working hours/week.
