Target group

The program is aimed at people in cities and municipalities who deal with the diverse forms of community work, to persons from all organisations that contribute to the design of municipal social work, such as ministries and federal and state agencies. The degree program is also relevant for staff members of organisations and associations working in social work, such as Arbeiterwohlfahrt, Diakonie, Caritas, Paritätischer Wohlfahrtsverband, as well as all independent sponsors and church institutions in the municipalities.

Annotation

The career-integrated advanced training course in Prevention Management - Skills for Social Interventions (Master) is set up at the Chemnitz University of Technology Centre for Knowledge and Technology Transfer (ZWT). It is realised in cooperation with the TUCed –An-Institut für Transfer und Weiterbildung GmbH (TUCed) This collaboration enables the range of courses to be tailored to the needs of professionals. The teaching content is taught at TUCed. The exams are carried out under the responsibility of the ZWT and the degree is awarded by the Chemnitz University of Technology. 15 presence-based teaching phases (usually every 6 weeks on Fridays and Saturdays) in the first approx. 2 years\; then Master thesis Application possible at any time until the maximum number of participants has been reached (25 participants per course) \t Organisation and implementation: TUCed (TU Chemnitz education), affiliated institute
