Admission requirements
In order to be able to enrol in the Social Work (B.A.) degree course, you need a general higher education entrance qualification, a subject-related higher education entrance qualification or a higher education entrance qualification (or a comparable higher education entrance qualification pursuant to the Baden-Württemberg Higher Education Act). Alternatively, technical college qualifications (e.g. to the "State-recognised educator", "State-recognised curative educator", "Staatlich gepr. business economist", etc.) or recognised further education qualifications (e.g. for the "Gepr. Business economist IHK", "Gepr. Specialist in IHK" of all disciplines, "Gepr. Specialist clerk IHK", etc.) in combination with an advisory interview for the study. If you have not completed any recognised advanced training (further training or technical school qualification), but can demonstrate a 2-year vocational training and at least three years of professional training in the social sector, there is the possibility of acquiring the higher education entrance qualification (HZB) by taking a university qualification test.
