Target group

The programme is aimed at German and international students with a qualified Bachelor's degree or a degree that is at least equivalent. Students must have completed at least 60 CP in law in their previous degree. Since the degree is taught completely in English, proof of the necessary English language skills must be submitted with the application.

Admission requirements

Subject-specific requirements As this is a continuing degree programme, you need at least 60 CP in the field of Law from your Bachelor's degree course. If your degree certificate does not show credit points, you should ask your examinations office for proof of the required percentage. English Language Skills - IELTS Academic (International English Language Testing System): overall score 6.5 with no subtest less than 6.5, or - TOEFL iBT: 92; no sub-test less than 22, speaking no less than 23, or - CAE (Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English): B minimum, or - CPE (Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English): C minimum, or - PTE Academic (Person Test of English, Academic test): 68; minimum 60 in writing Further application documents: Curriculum vitae (max. 2 pages) and a letter of motivation (max. 1 page) as well as, if available, proof of experience abroad, scholarships, voluntary elective office and best quota.

Tuition fee

In addition to the semester fees for the first academic year at Leuphana, an additional GBP 7,800 (EU citizens)* / GBP 17,000 (non-EU citizens)* are charged per academic year at the University of Glasgow or USD 10,000* at the University of the West Indies. At the Leuphana University Lüneburg, tuition fees are only charged for the career-integrated degree courses. All other degree courses are only subject to semester contributions. * Subject to changes
