Annotation

The Bachelor’s course in Physics creates a broad basis for an in-depth study of physics itself or a specialisation in a physics itself or a specialisation in physics-related fields, such as nanotechnology. The fundamental principles of physics are supplemented with courses in mathematics and a wide range of secondary subjects (e.g. computer science, biology, chemistry, economics, philosophy), which allows students to specialise beyond physics. At the beginning of the course, a special mentoring program is offered by professors. Why study in Constance? - special mentorship programme at the start of studies provided by university teachers - "Open Door Policy": Flexible office hours and individual advice provided by teachers - Seminars and tutorials in small groups with intensive support - New paths in teaching, such as ‘integrated courses’ with optimised teaching contents - Broad-based range of secondary subjects - Numerous contacts with research centres in Germany and abroad allow for external Bachelor’s theses at national and international institutes - Key research focus on condensed matter -> a topic of broad fundamental and technological significance
