You will be able to systematically analyse and reflect on cultural products and processes through methods and theories of linguistics, literature and cultural studies. In two voluntary semesters abroad, you can gain intensive experience of the living environment and the cultural characteristics of the foreign country and apply academic questions locally. With the help of your supervising professor, you will develop interests and questions related to the place of study abroad, which will be used to conduct independent research to create a collection of material related to linguistics or literary studies and specific to the cultural area and which will result in a field report.
