Annotation

The degree course starts in German in the winter semester and in English in the summer semester. Commencing studies in the summer semester requires proof of sufficient command of English.

Admission requirements

Admission to the Master’s degree course is granted to applicants who have a "Bachelor of Arts" degree in “International Tourism Management” from Westküste University of Applied Sciences with an overall grade of 2.5 or better. Admission to the Master’s degree course is granted to applicants who have a Bachelor’s or Diplom degree in related subjects (e.g. Economics, Spatial Sciences or Cultural Studies) from a university of applied sciences, university or equivalent covered by the German Higher Education Framework Act (Hochschulrahmengesetz) with an overall grade of 2.5 or better. In each case, 20 credit points or a corresponding proportion of semester hours must be earned in tourism-related and business-related courses (e.g. business administration, economics, etc.). For admission to the Master’s degree course, which is conducted in English, applicants must demonstrate sufficient English language proficiency.
