The DAAD defines DAAD alumni as individuals who have verifiably received individual funding from the DAAD. Some DAAD alumni services are also targeted at alumni of German universities and so-called "Germany alumni", i.e. individuals who have lived, studied or conducted research in Germany. The alumni programmes each have their own specific criteria. There are also special offers for DAAD alumni associations and German universities.

Funding Programmes for Alumni
Our DAAD alumni programmes provide ongoing support to former DAAD scholarship holders and offer them various funding opportunities within the global DAAD alumni network.
Funding for alumni associations
The DAAD alumni associations are independent organisations. They are autonomous in how they manage their affairs, their constitution and their specific objectives.
