There is no foreign language centre. Languages offered: English, French, German as a Foreign Language, Spanish, Chinese

The university offers its own sports programme. Of course, you can take advantage of the Hamburg university sports programme and take part in the major sporting events, such as the Champions Trophy, the Euromasters, the Royals Cup and the Snowdays. Some courses are free of charge, some subject to fees. You can get involved in our HSBA sports committee or simply try out one of the many sports on offer. Badminton, basketball, cheerleading, football, golf, handball, hockey, rowing, tennis, sailing and volleyball – it’s all possible. You can also take part in our “Dreizack Derby” or in one of the major sports tournaments of other universities.
