Special features regarding the library

Locations: Locations: Information Resource Centre (IRC), central area. No departmental libraries.; Stock: The library focuses on global access to the excellent electronic range of more than 300,000 e-books and more than 30,000 electronic journals. There is also a stock of printed resources.; Services: The library is located in the central, attractive Information Resource Centre, has long opening hours and provides a wide range of technically well-equipped group and individual workspaces. Students are given support in all questions related to information acquisition and dissertations may be published online. Collections: Printed stock 60,000 printed books in 5 different collections.

Foreign language center and courses

There is a foreign language centre. Languages offered: German as a Foreign Language. Credits from language courses at other universities can be recognised if they correspond to the curriculum of the German courses at the LCC.

Special features regarding university sports

The university offers its own sports programme. Constructor University is a member of the General German University Sports Association. Constructor University students can therefore take advantage of sports programmes from other universities, for example the extensive range of courses offered by the University of Bremen. Some courses are free of charge, some subject to fees. Constructor University offers an extensive range of sports for various disciplines and levels of performance. The sports programme is continually being developed. In 2012, a state-of-the-art Sports and Convention Centre was opened, equipped with sports halls, a gym and a rowing tank. There is also a swimming pool in the immediate vicinity of the campus. The sports programme is characterized by attractive regional and national / international competitions and events. Football is played in the official league.
