Special features regarding university sports
The university offers its own sports programme. Students may participate in the programme of Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and Hessen University of Applied Sciences for Police and Public Administration (Hessische Hochschule für Polizei und Verwaltung). Some courses are free of charge, some subject to fees. Since 2021, we have had two of our own sports facilities: A newly created fitness course with 10 stations on the KSR campus and a covered bouldering facility on the Rüsselsheim campus. In addition, 6 new showers have been installed for the university and in particular for university sports. The approximately 120 courses are taking place in person again. In cooperation with the city of Wiesbaden, a modern fitness area with synchronous equipment is being planned. University sports at RheinMain University of Applied Sciences (HSRM) hosted two German University Championships in golf and women's football for the General German University Sports Federation (adh) in 2022. Sports: Fitness of every kind; Ball sports; Martial arts; Yoga; Swimming; Outdoor sports: Skiing, canoeing, cycling, SUP, surfing, sailing; Approx. 120 courses in total
