Special features regarding university sports

The university offers its own sports programme. There is a partnership with the Adult Education Centre (VHS). Some courses are free of charge, some subject to fees. University sports include a wide range of in-person and digital programmes. In addition to traditional (ball) sports, courses such as climbing, dance fit, ultimate frisbee and freeletics are also integrated into the Coburg University of Applied Sciences programme. Pilates and back training are also available. The courses are integrated into a student health management programme. In their design, emphasis is placed on student participation in order to tailor the services to students’ needs.
