The university offers its own sports programme. It is possible for its own students to participate in the sports programme of OTH Regensburg within the framework of the "Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule" between OTH Amberg-Weiden and OTH Regensburg. Participation is free of charge. The programme is open to students of OTH Regensburg in cooperation with the "Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule" between OTH Amberg-Weiden and OTH Regensburg. Sports training times in the university sports hall in Amberg and the city sports halls in Weiden are regularly fully booked. About 800 students take advantage of the diverse range of activities offered by the Sports Department. This includes exercise classes such as yoga, dance, jazz dance and other individual sports. Fellow students can often be recruited as instructors.
