Opening hours: Mon-Fri 8am-8pm; Sat 9am-4pm.; Stock: Printed and digital media on Chemistry, Technology, Optics and Ophthalmics, Computer Science and Economics: Approximately 49,000 printed works; 329,000 e-books; 67,000 e-journals; 90 databases.; Services: In addition, a device rental service is offered (laptops, cables, adapters). New media is purchased with the involvement of students, allowing current stock requirements to always be taken into account. Round-the-clock online access to digital media and services, including from at home. Different types of learning spaces are available on site. Foreign language center and courses

There is a foreign language centre. Languages offered: English, French, German as a Foreign Language, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Chinese, Arabic, Italian Online (self-study), other foreign languages can be taken in cooperation with Aalen Adult Education Centre (VHS) and are financially supported (no examination possible). Special features regarding university sports

The university offers its own sports programme. Some courses are free of charge, some subject to fees. Hochschule Aalen works with the student government association (Verfasste Studierendenschaft) to offer a varied sports programme for all students of Hochschule Aalen. Registration for the university sports programme is held every semester during the first week of lectures. The university sports programme begins every semester in the third week of lectures. Every summer there is also a university sports festival for students and staff. Sports: Football, basketball, volleyball, running, swimming, tennis, table tennis, yoga+stretching, pole dancing
