There is a foreign language centre. Languages offered: English, French, German as a Foreign Language, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Swedish, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, German Sign Language.

Special features regarding university sports

The university offers its own sports programme. No cooperation with other university sports facilities. Students of the universities Neu-Ulm and Ulm can use the sports programme of Ulm university sports. Participation is subject to fees. The university sports programme at the University of Ulm is open to students from the University of Ulm and the universities of Ulm and Neu-Ulm. Approximately 120 sports courses are organised and offered per semester. One gym on campus, equipped with modern, card-controlled cardio and strength-training equipment, and a functional training area and lat machine extend the programmes on offer. In addition, the university sports centre organises numerous activities and sporting events for students and employees. Sports: Extensive sports programme, including activities in the area of stress prevention and nutrition. Approximately 120 courses of various categories are organised per semester - e.g. fitness, health, water sports, movement arts, martial arts, workshops, dancing.
