Special features regarding the library

Services: With a stock of nearly 4 million volumes and extensive digital resources, Thuringia University and State Library (ThULB) is not only valued as a "place of learning" but also as a provider of information. Special features regarding university sports

With around 350 instructors for all students and employees, the university sports centre organises one of the most diverse and extensive sports and exercise programmes in the region. This is reflected in the more than 26,000 allocated course places per academic year, more than 700 programmes per semester and around 20 different events and tournaments throughout the year. Snow and water sports camps are also organised. The university sports centre sees itself not only as a sports provider but also as a competent partner for health promotion and as a social meeting place. Our goal: discover sports as part of your life. Sports: E.g. football, basketball, badminton, (beach) volleyball, rowing/canoeing, karate, judo, yoga, Pilates, group fitness, dancing, boxing, fencing, rugby, tennis, table tennis, fitness training, exercise courses, trend sports and exotic sports such as Zumba, climbing/bouldering, juggling, Squadball, slacklining, ultimate frisbee, etc.
