Special features regarding university sports

The university offers its own sports programme. Students and employees of the University of Trier and the Faculty of Theology can participate in the university sports programme on the same terms as members of the university. Some courses are free of charge, some subject to fees. The programme is open to: University of Trier, Faculty of Theology. Additionally, students of all higher education institutions worldwide at reduced rates for almost all activities. We offer a very broad, varied sports programme. In addition to the well-known school sports, we also offer trend sports. These include Zumba, Pilates, yoga and Shaolin Kung-Fu. A fitness studio is available for general use. Indoor rowing, barbell workouts and indoor cycling courses. Among other things, the outdoor fitness (callisthenics) facility and an artificial grass pitch are very popular.
