Special features regarding university sports

The university offers its own sports programme. The participation of HHU students in sports programmes at other universities is the decision of the respective university sports management and subject to their participation regulations. Some courses are free of charge, some subject to fees. With a few exceptions, the university sports programme at HHU is almost free for students. With their enrolment fee, students pay EUR 3 to Hochschulsport e.V. (University Sports Association). Special feature: A cardio fitness/exercise class is offered every day from 6pm for all those who find it hard to exercise, so that students can balance out their daily routine - which is largely sedentary. The programme includes more than 250 hours of sports per week. The association is composed of the Düsseldorf state universities.
