Regular didactic updates of professors through the Gesellschaft für Hochschuldidaktik (Society for University Didactics); Many practice-oriented lectures with an integrated laboratory, such as "Practical Electronics", "Circuit Technology" and "Embedded Systems"; Case Studies; Hands-on learning, flexibility through hybrid teaching

Students are already engaged in advanced research in the Master's programme.

Special features regarding the international orientation

Students are very personally supported in their project by our Academic Foreign Office (higher education institution) and the Faculty's Internationalisation Officer, both as incoming and outgoing students. We try to encourage students to study abroad and/or take part in practical work placements through presentations, for example in the general meeting. For studies abroad, the study and examination regulations provide for an international semester to facilitate the recognition of ECTS credits earned abroad.

Many specialist laboratories with state-of-the-art, high-quality equipment: Laboratory for renewable energies and energy engineering, laboratory for power electronics and electric drives, laboratory for system integration and user interfaces, laboratory for IT security, laboratory for communications engineering.
