Due to the cooperation between Koblenz University of Applied Sciences and the University of Koblenz, teaching takes place at both locations. The division into four focus areas makes it possible to address students' technical preferences and special interests particularly well.

The department has a high-performance computing cluster (especially for AI); A modern gait analysis laboratory with a unique "trip trail"; A manned aircraft, a "gyroplane"; A modern scanning electron microscope; A modern digital microscope; An optical coherence tomography system (OCT); A range of medical equipment; Optical analysis systems; Various laser systems and spectrometers; An electronics and precision mechanics workshop; A professional 3D printer; A 2-micron 3D printer; Its own video studio
