Special features regarding teaching

The content focus of Karlshochschule in the sense of interpretative economics shaped by cultural studies corresponds to a constructivist didactic concept in teaching. Learning is understood as a process of self-organisation of knowledge based on the individual student's construction of reality and meaning. In dealing with different levels of external experience, cognitive and processing approaches are to be made possible for students with different learning styles and previous experience.

Special features regarding the international orientation

With its six-semester standard period of study, compulsory semester abroad, demanding academic and theoretical foundation, high degree of practical relevance with projects and work placements as well as English as a continuous language of instruction, the degree course "Politics, Philosophy, Economics" at Karlshochschule International University is a course of study with high standards when it comes to international orientation.
