Special features regarding teaching

In our Business Law programmes, the course content is taught by internationally renowned members of the Frankfurt School Faculty and external teaching staff. The external teaching staff are outstanding practitioners from leading international financial institutions, law firms, auditors and tax consultants.

Special features regarding the international orientation

The Frankfurt School welcomes a growing number of international guest students and guest lecturers every year. Designated study programmes are taught entirely in English.

Special features regarding research activities

In research and teaching, the Department of Philosophy & Law deals with normative and descriptive questions of normative orders. This is done from the perspectives of "de lege lata" and “de lege ferenda". Research and teaching are carried out by lawyers working in business law as well as philosophers with a strong economic orientation. The members of the department help to shape the degree courses and offer courses in the legal, business ethics and academic theory area of the other programmes of the Frankfurt School within their field of expertise.

Support for founders

The FS has established a dedicated FS Entrepreneurship Centre that aims to promote entrepreneurship in the student and alumni community. The Entrepreneurship Centre helps start-ups from the student and alumni community by connecting them with leading industry experts, renowned alumni and investors in various fields such as technology, finance and strategy. The FS EC operates two programmes for this purpose: the Incubator and Accelerator.

Other special features

The study contents at the Frankfurt School are state-of-the-art but also have a high relevance to current practice. Through the network of partner universities abroad, the Frankfurt School offers its students a variety of international perspectives. Due to innovative time models, most degree courses can be combined with a profession. Designated degree course study programmes are taught entirely in English and the integrated exchange study opportunities promote internationality at the various locations.
