Special features regarding teaching

Exercises and tutorials are often in small groups. Guided mentoring programme makes it easier for new students to start their studies. Practice-oriented teaching as well as application- and future-oriented research through collaboration with the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Information Technology (FIT). Skills in different subject areas through various professorships in Business Information Systems with different topics (including Process Management, Strategic IT Management, Digital Society or Digital Energy Management).

Campus-wide WiFi, freely accessible printers and scanners as well as modern technical and audiovisual equipment in the lecture halls and seminar rooms. Computer support for students’ personal PCs. Research collaboration with the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Information Technology (FIT) in digital research areas such as digital society, artificial intelligence, blockchain and sustainable energy management. Selected research projects: "PlasIs" - Development of a security management platform for IoT. "EvalDiGE" – Fundamentals for digitalisation of German health authorities. Applied research through digital innovation workshop, blockchain lab, IoT lab and AI lab.
