Special features regarding teaching in the bachelor's degree programme

Opportunity to take mirrored modules in German at Sichuan University in Chengdu during the Bachelor's degree course. In the Master's degree, a special module on research practice is offered, which teaches academic working methods before the Master's thesis.

Special features regarding the international orientation

In the summer semester of 2021, the department had a foreigner share of about 50% of the students. The students came from 49 different countries. There are over 50 international collaborations within the department as part of the Erasmus programme and a further 10 international collaborations outside of the Erasmus programme.

Special features regarding research activities

The research centres at TU Clausthal enable interdisciplinary research in the field of digitalisation of industrial manufacturing processes (e.g. additive manufacturing and human-machine interfaces, Recycling 4.0).
