Deep engagement with value issues and value formation as well as with global education and development issues in connection with flight and migration is a special feature of the degree course and at the same time core competence in the design of modern educational programs. In the profiling phase, the focus is not primarily on the internal logics of the disciplines from which the course content originates but on the qualification objectives and career opportunities of the students in the corresponding fields (‘output orientation’).

Thanks to its flexibility, the curriculum gives students an opportunity to spend time abroad. All modules, particularly those from the BKFs in ‘Education Policy and Philosophy of Education’, ‘Adult and Further Education’ and ‘Social Education’, can be taken entirely or partially in the context of equivalence courses at Erasmus partner universities of the PPF such as the University of Oulu, Aristotle University Thessaloniki, Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University Warsaw, University of Sofia, etc.

A processual self-professionalisation of the students should be achieved, among other things, by developing analytical-researching attitudes to concrete practical problems within the scope of the planned learning research projects, which should be carried out within the scope of cooperation of the course of study with institutional actors from practical pedagogy, politics and business.
