Special features regarding research and development

At the Charité, researchers in the three pillars Faculty, University Hospital and Berlin Institute of Health work primarily in the focus areas of Infection, Inflammation and Immunity, Cardiovascular Research and Metabolism, Rare Diseases and Genetics, Oncology, Regenerative Therapies and Neurosciences to advance forward-looking developments in the field of medicine while maintaining the highest standards of quality and sustainability.
