Other special features

Since 2021, Aachen University of Applied Sciences has had a Vice-Rector for Diversity & Equal Opportunities. A diversity management system was established, including a Diversity Board, whose fields of action are inclusion, internationality, integration, communication and quality assurance. The faculty fully supports this commitment, for example through personal & individual support, joint integrative degree courses & research projects with the technical faculties of Aachen University of Applied Sciences and collaborations with 115 partner universities worldwide. A professor from the faculty is on the Sustainability Committee of Aachen University of Applied Sciences.
