Generally face-to-face teaching; Seminars and exercises in groups of up to 20 students, whereby lecturers act as learning guides and can follow learning progress individually; Hands-on training in small groups with 1:6 teacher-student ratio, meaning that students' practical skills can be developed individually; Implementation of the problem-oriented learning concept; Use of interactive boards; Use of the "Moodle" teaching platform to provide supplementary digital content; Use of special teaching methods such as blended learning formats, peer instruction, clicker systems

The department has fully equipped laboratories both in the subject area of Biotechnology and in Medical Technology to teach modern techniques and methods in extensive practicals.
