Special features regarding the equipment
The faculty has modern laboratory equipment including large-scale equipment funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG). The spectrum covers computer clusters with more than 100 workstations, a centre for additive manufacturing, demo factories, flow laboratories, automation laboratories, mechanics laboratories, materials technology laboratories, production technology laboratories, quality management laboratories, CAD and CAE laboratories, test benches and a robotics laboratory. Added to this is a very well-equipped mechanical workshop.
