Special features regarding teaching

8 professorships cover the common basic subjects and a number of different areas of application (Clinical Psychology, Educational Psychology, Occupational and Business Psychology, Legal Psychology, Health Psychology). 2 additional professorships in Clinical Psychology are being filled (Experimental Psychopathology) or listed (Children and Adolescents). Special features of teaching: Integration in university outpatient clinics (children and adolescents and adults); Courses of study compliant with medical practice regulations (B.Sc., M.Sc.); regular monitoring of teaching quality

Special features regarding the international orientation

The institute members have numerous international research partnerships & are members of various international research projects such as with colleagues from India, Malaysia, Utrecht, the UK, China or Russia. Research stays abroad and international guest visits in Hildesheim are held regularly. The members of the institute contribute to many international conferences.

EEG- & bio-/neuro feedback systems, eye-tracker, direct current device for GVS, device for monitoring pointing movements, Finometer, cameras for monitoring & recording (incl. 360° camera), olfactometer, 3D virtual-reality/AR glasses, devices for tactile stimulation, movement equipment (rowing ergometer, human gyroscope, walking band, Sensoboard); 5 soundproofed, reaction time cabins with air-conditioning, 1 psychophysical test cabin; Experimental control and presentation software (e.g. E-Prime, Matlab, Presentation), survey and evaluation software for special methods and devices
