Special features regarding teaching

Small groups, manageable number of first-year students, thus individual support. Preliminary course for the classification of previous knowledge, student tutorial during the course of study. Lab exercises in small groups (good student-teacher ratio); Lectures with illustrative and exciting experiments and current issues such as environmental aspects (e.g. air pollutants), regional characteristics (e.g. rocks, drinking water), important historical events and developments, important personalities in chemistry. Subject didactic events with close exchange with cooperation schools.

Support for founders

Organisation of Start-up Week (in conjunction with Global Entrepreneurship Week); acquisition of an additional certificate in "Organisational Design, Innovation and Start-up".
