The key areas of economic research on the topics of structural change, (Entrepreneurial) Change, Entrepreneurship, Economic Transformation and Innovations underpin the key areas of study on offer and are thus incorporated into teaching.

Students can adapt their studies to their individual preferences in both the Bachelor's and Master's degrees, pursuing specialisations that reflect the complexity of real business problems and take into account the multitude of analysis methods used in business decisions. Another speciality is the emphasis on interdisciplinarity and multidisciplinary studies. This ensures that students are also made aware of problems outside of their own discipline.
