Following the motto: get to know future practice now! The students are included in research at an early stage by the research-oriented work groups and gain, in addition to a good level of supervision and the very good quality of teaching, a closely practice-related and realistic impression of their later professional world. This can be attributed to the high level of commitment of the professors and academic staff.
Support for founders
The University of Duisburg-Essen has combined the numerous measures in the IDE competence centre for innovation and start-ups. In addition, the chair for e-business and e-entrepreneurship pursues a combination of training and start-up promotion in e-business. Thus it is the aim to help to intensify the use of digital business processes through the courses offered, while also focusing on intensifying start-up promotion in the net economy.
