Physical geography/soil science: modern laboratory with C,N,S elemental & TOC/TN analyzer, GC, irMS (isotope analysis), ICP-OES, ion chromatograph, laser particle scanner, X-ray diffractometer, pollen analysis; field equipment including hydroacoustics, seismics, drilling platform. Remote Sensing and Geoinformatics: Two PC rooms, differential GPS, Soil Physics lab (pF/WC), Octocopter and multi spectrometer, stereo camera, ASD field spectrometer and laboratory, RIEGL Laser Scanner, LAI analyser. Software: eCognition, ENVI/IDL, ERDAS, ArcGIS and PCI Geomatica, Gamma, SARScape; computer cluster human geography. PC pool, media lab.
