Special features regarding teaching

For the Political Science degree at the Uni Duisburg-Essen, the motto is "the bigger the better". At one of the largest Political Science institutes in Germany, students have the rare chance to take part in programmes covering the full breadth of Political Science topics in small seminars and thus follow their specific interests. In the Bachelor's degree course, this freedom of choice is the main focus in combination with an application-oriented training in the methods of empirical social research. The Master's programmes link subject specialisation with a relation to particular professional fields.
