Two computer rooms with a total of 48 workplaces; Mathematics library with around 96 workstations, stock of approx. 23,750 books, 42 current journals, 40 electronic journals, specialist collection in Didactics of Mathematics; Statistics Library with a stock of approx. 6,000 volumes and approx. 30 journal subscriptions.
Special features regarding research activities
Numerous cooperations within and outside the RWTH (with universities and companies) Participation in the graduate school AICES; participation in special research areas, graduate colleges: "Experimental and Constructive Algebra", "Energy, Entropy and Dissipative Dynamics"; DFG-SFB/Transregio: "Symbolic Tools in Mathematics and Their Applications"; various areas of concentration in the master's degree course.
Other special features
Once a semester, the so-called year conference takes place; the lecturers of the courses from the first four semesters meet with the students and the students report on how the courses went from their point of view.
